PersuadePersuasion is defined as “the act of causing people to do or believe in something”. The power of persuasion is having the ability to convince someone to do, believe in or act on something. The power of persuasion is all around us – in our home life, in our work life, at school, at play…..everywhere you are! Summit Group is energized, capable and willing to meet your marketing objectives by using our creativity and vast capabilities to formulate an association between a company and their product(s). This association gives our customers an edge in their arena of business by gentle persuasion which comes in the form of branding, logos, catch phrases, etc.

The Summit world is filled with branding, marketing, sales, logos etc. Branding is a tool which can be traced back to German roots as far as the 1400’s. It’s part of our culture and the world we live in. People are attuned to popular trademarks such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A and many others. Children learn these trademarks before they can read as evidenced by the fact that they know a Happy Meal comes from McDonald’s, Mom & Dad’s morning coffee comes from Starbucks, the dressed up/talking cows live at Chick-Fil-A, etc. Trademarking is a vital part of selling your product, idea or service. Sometimes, the logo or trademark is so well-known that it becomes the name of the product i.e. tissues made from any manufacturer are widely known as Kleenex (when in fact, Kleenex is the brand). The same goes for a catch phrase. “Have It Your Way” is associated with Burger King. “Think Different” brings Apple products to mind. And then of course there’s, “Just Do It!” which is Nike. These catch phrases help to persuade you to remember a particular product and that familiarity is what helps to drive sales.

For 5+ years now, Diana has been honored to be the den mother, head cheerleader, medical assistant, on-site proofer, free counselor and door guard for Summit-Atlanta (aka Director of First Impressions).

She is not sure which she enjoys most - her responsibilities or the Summiteers that she shares her days with. Either way, she is thrilled to interact with people in person and on the phone helping to promote the values and principles of Summit. Summit is a diverse group of intelligent, caring individuals and she is honored to be a Summiteer.
