PantoneIt’s time to put away your winter coats and focus on warmer days! Pantone released their Fashion Color Report for Spring 2016 and according to the Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eisemen, “designers are playing with courageous color statements that aren’t afraid to be vibrant but at the same time are combined with quieting, classic and more natural tones.”

I personally love the spring colors that are presented, my favorites being Peach Echo, Green Flash, and Lilac Gray. All of the colors make me think of the environment whether it be the color of the sky or a flower in a garden.

capIn between the spring showers, there are always beautiful sunny days and what better way to accessorize your outfit than with a cap to shield you from the rays? The Unstructured Sandwich Bill Cap is made of 100% cotton twill with a hook and loop closure that can adjust to fit. As with every season, a neutral color is needed, so for this cap, very similar to Lilac Gray, the Charcoal/White leaves room for pairing it with colors such as Pantone Fiesta, Pantone Green Flash, or Pantone Iced Coffee.

Imagine being in the park, trying to get some reading done on your tablet but would prefer not to bring a large bag with you. Opting for the Felt Tablet Felt puchSleeve, you’ll be able to conveniently tote your belongings, all while being a fashion icon! It’s made of 100% polyester felt, has a secure snap closure so your belongings don’t fall out, and will protect your tablet from scratches. This bag is available in Charge Green/ Felt Grey and is a perfect stand-in for the Pantone Green Flash!

Pantone shirtsThe two companion pieces of the Textured Camp Shirt come in various colors including a similar color to Peach Echo. Typically seen on resort and restaurant employees, it can easily be turned into a nice business outfit with a blazer or cardigan. It’s lightweight and breathable with an open collar and has turned-up cuff hems which makes it a lot more appealing to the eye.

These colors are fairly bright but at the same time have that quiet, natural feel to them. When trying to figure out what to wear, take into consideration this season’s palette!
